About Our Story

“Therefore,” He said to them, “every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.” Matthew 13:52 CSB

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Jamie. I am so glad you are here! Because that means you are interested in diving into God’s Word and hiding it in your heart! I live in north Louisiana with my husband and three children.

I created this site because I have a passion for all ladies – young and old – to hide God’s Word in their hearts.

My desire was to share what I was learning from my Bible studies. I’m not a good talker, but I like to write! And I didn’t want these lessons to be hidden away in my brain forever. So I am pulling from my storeroom old treasures and new to share with all of you!

This passion came about when my children were young. I wanted to offer them more than just a Bible story at bedtime. I wanted to give them lessons they could take away from each of these stories, and there were very few resources out there I was happy with at the time. So I began writing my own.

Kids love to learn and mine especially enjoyed our question time at the end of the story. Then my passion grew to include all other ages, and now we have Storeroom Treasures!

I hope you’ll stick around and find these resources useful. God says His Word “will not return empty” so I have full confidence that one day, in some way, you’ll be blessed by what you find here.

I can think of only one thing that would be better than being blessed by His Word, and that is asking His Son to come into your life.

I pray you’ve already done that, but if not, click here to learn more about Him.

Welcome to my storeroom and be sure to sign up for our newsletter to receive your FREE copy of our Bible study tools!

In the vast expanse of the universe, amid the tapestry of galaxies and stars, one truth shines with unparalleled brilliance – the boundless, unconditional love of God for His creation. John 3:16 captures the essence of this divine love, encapsulating the very heart of the Gospel.

The verse begins with a resounding proclamation: “For God so loved the world…” These words are a reminder that the Creator’s affection isn’t limited by our flaws or faults. His love transcends human comprehension, encompassing every corner of the earth and every facet of humanity. It’s a love that reaches into the depths of our souls, offering comfort, hope, and renewal.

God’s love is not passive; it’s a love that takes action. “…that he gave his one and only Son…” This act of giving defies reason – the Almighty, robed in human form, stepping into our broken world to bridge the gap between the divine and the mortal. The Son’s sacrifice reflects a love that knows no bounds, a love willing to endure unimaginable pain for the sake of redemption.

The verse then extends an invitation, an offer that echoes across time and space: “…that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The essence of salvation lies in belief, in acknowledging Christ as the Savior and embracing the transformation that comes with faith. In this promise lies the gift of eternal life, a life in intimate communion with God that begins here and now and stretches into eternity.

As we meditate on John 3:16, let it remind us that we are recipients of an unfathomable love. A love that was willing to sacrifice for our sake, a love that seeks to draw us into a relationship with the Divine. May we respond to this love with open hearts, embracing the truth of the Gospel and living in the hope of eternal life. In the light of John 3:16, let us find renewed purpose, gratitude, and a deepened love for the God who loved us first.
